TRENDing: 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards

The 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards were Sept. 22 and the fashions and trends were hot on the red carpet.

Jane Lynch wore a black Badgley Mischka Collection pantsuit. Her make up and styling was better than ever. She also gave a remembrance speech about her late “Glee” co-star, Cory Monteith that was not easy on our hearts or tissue boxes.

“30 Rock’s” Katrina Bowden looked amazing (and I may be biased from interning there this summer) in my favorite Badgley Mischka Cruise 2014 Couture. I am always in support of anything navy, and the attention to detail in the beading is signature to Badgley Mischka and is always a “wow” factor.

The newly engaged Kaley Cuoco chose a garnet colored Vera Wang gown that was to die for. The structured bodice was so flattering and, as we Gamecocks know, garnet looks great on everyone!

Rose Byrne (may have been my favorite of the night in a blush colored two-piece from Calvin Klein Collection. Her hair, make up, and jewelry are simple and flawless. She must have known her man Bobby Cannavale was going to win for “Boardwalk Empire” and wanted to make sure she wasn’t outshone by the Emmy in his hand. Her pale pink gown was also a color trend of the night seen on other celebrities like Julie Bowen in Zac Posen.

Emerald-hued gowns made a statement on celebrities like Mayim Bialik from “The Big Bang Theory” in Oliver Tolentino, Sarah Hyland from “Modern Family” in CH Carolina Herrera and Anna Chlumsky from “Veep” in Badgley Mischka.

A few celebrities were feeling bold and beautiful in blue. Emmy winner Tina Fey wore a Narciso Rodriguez gown while Rocsi Diaz was in Michael Costello and Allison Williams looked chic and effortless in Ralph Lauren.

What did you guys think of the night’s fashions? Who were your best and worst dressed?
