Justin Bieber: Out of Control?

It is unfortunate that time and time again we see celebrities of all ages go down a path of self-destruction; this past week, Justin Bieber has proved to be no exception.

At around 4 a.m., a police officer saw the 19-year-old driving a yellow Lamborghini in a drag race against a red Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach. It was reported that both cars were speeding at about 60 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Not only was he speeding, but Bieber had been under the influence. Bieber admitted to taking prescription pills, smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol before operating a vehicle. The list only continues to grow after it was determined that the he was also driving with an expired Georgia license.
Oy vey!

Bieber was released from jail about an hour after he made a brief appearance before a Miami judge, who set a $2,500 bond Thursday afternoon. As he was leaving jail, Bieber briefly sat on top of a black Cadillac Escalade, where he waved to screaming fans before he was chauffeured away. His demeanor was questionable for someone who is facing multiple criminal charges.

Before his arrest on Thursday, Bieber had been linked to other criminal activity. Rumors that Bieber’s drinking and drug abuse had gotten out of control began to surface, specifically after a strange egg-throwing incident resulted in a police raid at the singer’s California home.

After the incident Thursday morning, celebrities took to Twitter to share their opinions. While some were harsher than others, it seemed that everyone had something to say. Seth Rogen did not hold back when he tweeted, “All jokes aside, Justin Bieber is a piece of shit.” Ellen DeGeneres had a more sensitive approach by tweeting, “It’s hard to hear all this news about @JustinBieber. I hope he makes his way to adulthood without him or anyone else getting hurt.

Since the arrest, Bieber has been spotted in Panama. It has been reported that both his manager Scooter Braun and Usher flew to Panama to stage an intervention with the 19-year-old. Hopefully, they can talk some sense into the singer and decide the best course of action.
