Lupita Nyong’o, Kenyan actress and film director, made her American film debut in Steve McQueen’s “12 Years a Slave” as Patsey. She has received tremendous critical acclaim. Nyong’o has already won the Screen Actors Guild and Critics’ Choice Award for her role in this film, as well as being nominated for the Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Not only has Nyong’o received praise for her work in “12 Years a Slave,” but she has also wowed fans with her impeccable gown choices this award season.
