In honor of this year’s National World Food Day Oct.16, Michael Kors has teamed up with the United Nations Food Program (WFP) to fight against world hunger with his new 100 series watch. They come in gold with turquoise faces or silver with navy faces. Each watch runs about $295. One watch is equivalent to 100 meals to feed those without food in order to end world hunger. Kors has teamed up with celebrities like Halle Berry and Victoria Justice to help promote and support the cause. There was even a story in the October issue of Teen Vogue! As of now 2,140,300 meals have been provided to families in other countries. Helping yourself while helping others is a very popular campaign idea that more and more designers are starting to use.
