Making a return for its second year, Cockstock provided students with a free concert featuring renowned rapper 21 Savage. Although almost an hour late due to airline difficulties, 21 Savage greeted attendees with a set packed with chart toppers.
While walking around Colonial Life Arena, and even for my three songs in the photo pit, the packed stadium went word for word with 21 Savage as he brought his trap hits to the stage. Chart topping songs like “Rockstar,” “X,” “Bank Account,” “Sneakin” and “Savage Mode” made the crowd go crazy. Right when the beat would drop, the whole crowd on the floor was jumping with the beat. There was not one moment where hands were not in the air.
Unfortunately, I could not catch every song he performed. However, songs from his performance included:

On my way out of the concert leaving early to avoid traffic, I could still hear the crowd with the faint sounds of the subwoofers from almost a block away. Overall, the concert was a great ending to the weekday festivities leading up to the U of SC homecoming football game.
