To be honest, I’ve grown a bit apathetic toward the local music scene in Columbia recently. Maybe it’s my overexposure of the city’s talent, or maybe it’s my attachment to music that’s been ripped away because of break-ups, moving away or “growing up”. Maybe I’ve grown numb to it all? Whatever the case may be, it’s made me a Bitter Betty which is good for my job at WUSC, but makes it harder to find shows that are appetizing.
