In Case You Missed Carolina Productions' Dating Coaches...

Carolina Productions' first hired show of the year came to Carolina on Wednesday night. Dave and Ethan: Dating Coaches are on a national tour of college campuses set to visit over 50 universities. Despite such a busy schedule, their routine was well planned and relatable for USC students with references to well-known Bates House, Gibbes Court, and “Chicken Finger Wednesday.”
Stemming from their friendship, first founded in high-school then later rekindled through a man-date years after graduating from college, the two found an immediate connection through an apartment window by singing to passerby’s to the tune of a guitar. Over 200 double dates later, the two are still close friends and have found unprecedented success. Ethan has even found himself a long-term relationship and removed himself from the world of dating (Sorry, ladies).
While Dave and Ethan surely have enjoyed each show on this college tour, the main message that they hope USC students took away from their performance was simply this: don’t be afraid to TRY. You’ll never get anywhere if you don’t take that first step.
CP is hoping to continue their strong showing following the fall semester with events including Bill Rasmussen (the founder of ESPN, Feb. 1st), Frank Abagnale (the inspiration for film "Catch Me If You Can," Feb. 13), and Whitney Thompson (the winner of America’s Next Top Model, Feb. 21) among many others.

This week’s events:
CP will be showing “Drive” and “The Three Musketeeers” at the Russell House theatre Thursday through Sunday at 6 and 9.
Bill Rasmussen will be speaking on Wednesday, Feb. 1st at 8:00 p.m. in the RH Ballroom.
